Since Binance suspend direct withdrawal of the FTM tokens to external FTM wallets. FTM network look very promising and BSC getting more and more congested. FTM communities are great and have developed a workaround which I think I should share this to other people how to transfer fund from the Binance Smart Chain to the Fantom Opera Chain.
In this article I will talk about the wallet use in FTM to a DEX and DeFi on FTM.
Wallet
You can use Metamask likes when you are using BSC. Here is how.
0. You have to have your Metamask ready
- Go to Sushiswap https://app.sushi.com/swap and connect your Metamask.
- Click at the BSC icon and choose Fantom to automatically add Fantom Chain to Metamask
3. Now you can switch back and forth between BSC and FTM using the same wallet.
Transfer Fund
Now get your BNB ready to bridge to the Fantom network
- Go to Anyswap https://anyswap.exchange/bridge and make sure you select the Fantom network and BNB as the token.
2. Click Agree and CrossChain Deposit to bridge your BNB to the Fantom Network.
3. Wait for your token to be transferred, in my case it took less than 5 mins
On Fantom Chain
- You need some FTM to use as gas of the network. The good news is The Fantom Community Alert is very generous to send 0.1 FTM to your wallet to use as gas. You can fill out this form https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdkGdSJF6CEWK886ffBM9BBcNwG83AxEUgUwFbWQ0WagvE4rg/viewform and wait for the gas from the Fantom Community Alert to be arrived.
- Go to SpookySwap, https://spookyswap.finance/swap, to Swap your BNB to any Token you want and enjoy farming.
